Job Summary

We are seeking a Clinical Psychologist to join our team at Emory University. The successful candidate will have experience in treating eating disorders in children and adolescents, as well as their families.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide evidence-based evaluation and treatment of a diverse population of children with eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa, bulimia nervosa, atypical anorexia, and avoidant/restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID).
  • Participate in program development and lead a combination of individual, family, and group therapy treatment.
  • Work closely with child and adolescent psychiatrists, psychiatric mental health nurse practitioners, behavioral and mental health therapists, and nurse case managers to develop and implement a comprehensive care plan for each patient.
  • Participate in the training of psychology doctoral interns and postdoctoral fellows, as well as other behavioral mental health trainees.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. or Psy.D. from an APA/CPA accredited program.
  • Completed an APA accredited child internship.
  • Licensed or licensed-eligible in Georgia prior to employment.
  • Board certification within hospital timelines.
