Job Summary

The Business Analyst will play a critical role in analyzing business needs and recommending system solutions or procedures. As a liaison between the business and IT departments, this individual will ensure that system enhancements are clearly documented, communicated, and validated.

Key Responsibilities
  • Obtain functional requirements from business stakeholders and subject matter experts.
  • Create detailed documentation of user requirements and partner with the development team to document functional and non-functional specifications.
  • Facilitate system enhancement requests and coordinate the related enhancement release schedule.
  • Develop functional design documents and modeling for reporting purposes.
  • Support quality assurance and control efforts using data analysis and profiling.
  • Work closely with the implementation team to configure Oracle ERP modules to meet business reporting requirements.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure seamless integration of reporting solutions with the Oracle ERP system.
  • Customize and enhance reporting functionalities within the overall solution.
  • Provide training to end-users on utilizing Oracle ERP reporting features.
  • Offer ongoing support to address user queries, issues, and enhancement requests.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience using Structured Query Language (SQL) for data analysis.
  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst in Oracle ERP implementations, with a focus on reporting.
  • Strong understanding of Oracle ERP modules, particularly those related to reporting and analytics.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
