- Identify and address operational gaps that may be limiting productivity and propose actionable solutions.
- Analyze, map, and redesign internal workflows to improve efficiency and achieve superior outcomes.
- Ensure the effective execution of improvement initiatives through structured schedules and action plans.
- Develop and implement strategies that align with corporate objectives for enhanced operational efficiency.
- Present improvement proposals for management evaluation and constructive feedback.
- Remain updated on industry developments, technological innovations, and best practices in continuous improvement.
- Act as the primary liaison for continuous improvement initiatives between the Business Office and various stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to procurement policies, corporate guidelines, and objectives.
- Comply with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations and laws.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor's degree is required, ideally in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or Business Administration.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement with a focus on process enhancement is essential.
- Experience in similar roles within the aviation or aerospace manufacturing sector is preferred.
Essential Skills and Attributes:
- Exceptional writing and presentation capabilities.
- Comprehensive understanding of product development methodologies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with knowledge of SAP and Teamcenter considered advantageous.
- Self-driven with strong leadership, customer service, and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and sound business acumen.
- Ability to work autonomously, manage multiple initiatives, and convey data effectively.
Physical Demands:
- Regular exposure to equipment noise, temperature variations, dust, and aircraft-related odors.
- Capability to stand, sit, walk, bend, reach, and lift items weighing up to 10 lbs.
- Commitment to working safely and in compliance with regulations.
- Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and communicate effectively in Business English.
