Position Overview:

Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Staff Accountant, your main duties will encompass:

  • Preparing and reviewing individual tax returns and high-net-worth tax filings.
  • Overseeing tax compliance for various entities including C Corporations, S Corporations, Estates, Partnerships, and Trusts.
  • Preparing and analyzing financial statements and cash flow reports.
  • Conducting account reconciliations and making necessary journal entries.
  • Providing expert guidance on tax issues related to S Corporations and Corporations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to devise and implement effective accounting strategies.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest tax legislation and regulatory changes.
  • Delivering exceptional client service to meet their financial requirements.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Staff Accountant role will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience with individual tax returns, high-net-worth tax, corporate tax compliance, financial reporting, account reconciliation, and journal entries.
  • Expertise in S Corporations and Corporations.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline; CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and meet stringent deadlines.
  • A dedication to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
