Responsibilities

As a Tax Manager, your responsibilities will include overseeing and managing tax engagements to ensure the delivery of high-quality tax services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervising the provision of a comprehensive range of tax services in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with clients to deliver exceptional planning, consulting, and expertise.
  • Implementing innovative tax strategies and reviewing complex income tax filings.
  • Identifying and addressing tax-related risks.
  • Managing tax compliance and provision processes.
  • Enhancing operational processes by developing or implementing best practices.
  • Coordinating tax audits effectively.
  • Preparing all necessary tax documentation in compliance with regulations and deadlines.
  • Delivering effective tax planning strategies to clients across various industries.
  • Collaborating closely with partners and staff on client management, practice development, and business growth initiatives.
  • Mentoring and supervising junior staff members.
Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess a robust background in tax accounting with a proven record of success.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in Taxation is advantageous.
  • CPA certification or equivalent qualification.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a public accounting firm or a similar environment.
  • Expertise in corporate, estate, partnership, trust, S Corp, and individual tax accounting.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of tax compliance, tax accounting, and various tax return types.
  • Familiarity with tax software and proficiency in MS Office.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional client service skills with the capability to foster excellent client relationships.
  • Demonstrated leadership and personnel management abilities.
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail.
