Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Staff Accountant, your main duties will include:
- Preparing and reviewing individual tax returns and high-net-worth tax filings.
- Overseeing tax compliance for C Corporations, S Corporations, Estates, Partnerships, and Trusts.
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements, including balance sheets and cash flow reports.
- Conducting account reconciliations and making necessary journal entries.
- Providing expert guidance on tax issues related to S Corporations and Corporations.
- Collaborating with colleagues to develop and implement effective accounting strategies.
- Keeping abreast of the latest tax laws and regulations.
- Delivering exceptional service to clients, ensuring their financial requirements are met.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Staff Accountant role will possess the following qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
- In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
- Demonstrated experience with individual tax returns, high-net-worth tax, C Corporations, S Corporations, Estates, Partnerships, Trusts, financial statements, account reconciliations, and journal entries.
- Proficiency in S Corporations and Corporations.
- A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline; CPA certification is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to perform well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of accuracy and professionalism.
