Role Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Staff Accountant to become part of our award-winning public accounting firm. This permanent role offers top-tier compensation and benefits. Key Responsibilities:
As a Senior Staff Accountant, your main duties will include:

  • Preparing and reviewing individual tax returns and high-net-worth tax filings.
  • Overseeing tax compliance for corporations, estates, partnerships, and trusts.
  • Analyzing balance sheets and cash flow statements.
  • Conducting account reconciliations and adjusting journal entries.
  • Providing expert guidance on tax issues related to corporations and S Corporations.
  • Collaborating with colleagues to formulate and execute accounting strategies.
  • Keeping abreast of the latest tax legislation and regulations.
  • Delivering exceptional client service, ensuring all financial needs are addressed.

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Senior Staff Accountant role will possess the following qualifications:

  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of tax regulations and compliance.
  • Demonstrated experience with individual tax returns, corporate tax, estates, partnerships, and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in tax matters concerning S Corporations and corporations.
  • A bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related discipline; CPA certification is highly preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
