Job Summary:The Patient Representative will provide patient-centered care and facilitate patient access to services in a pleasant, knowledgeable, and efficient manner. This role is responsible for all aspects of the registration and appointment process for patients.
Key Responsibilities:- Assist with daily reception activities and ensure that all processes needed for patient services are initiated.
- Communicate effectively with team members and patients on all aspects of service.
- Responsible for telephone and mail contact with patients.
- Responsible for the scheduling of appointments, fee collection, explanation of services and charges for patient services.
- Distribute materials to patients, including patient satisfaction cards, patient rights, and other appropriate materials.
- Verify all insurance and set fees based on the sliding scale fee.
- High School diploma/GED
- Minimum 2-4 years of work-related experience
- Preferred language: Bilingual in both English and Spanish (orally and written)
