We are seeking an experienced Activity Director to join our team at Meadow Lakes Assisted Living in Mooresville, Indiana. As an Activity Director, you will be responsible for designing and implementing a program of therapeutic activities that promote the physical, emotional, and social well-being of our residents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement a personalized plan for each resident, taking into account their interests, needs, and functional levels.
  • Manage and administer a program of activities that enhance the quality of life for our residents, including social events, recreational activities, and educational programs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure that activities are tailored to meet the needs of residents with varying levels of ability and mobility.
  • Recruit and train volunteers to assist with activities and events.
  • Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the activity program and make recommendations for improvement.
Requirements
  • Activity Director Certification
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
  • 1-2 years of experience in a social or recreational program preferred
  • One year of full-time employment in an Activities program in a health care setting
