Job Title: Memory Care Director

TerraBella Lake Norman is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Memory Care Director to lead our memory care unit.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a comprehensive memory care program that meets the unique needs of our residents.
  • Collaborate with the Activities Director to create engaging activities that promote cognitive stimulation and social interaction.
  • Design and facilitate a variety of dementia-appropriate activities, including Life Skills and recreational programs.
  • Ensure the memory care unit is in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
  • Supervise Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) in the memory care unit.

Qualifications:

  • At least one year of management experience in dementia care.
  • Active North Carolina Medication Aide license.
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities and delegate assignments.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Good judgment, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule.
