Job Title: Occupational Health Nurse

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Health Nurse to join our team at Kadiak, LLC. As an Occupational Health Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing medical care and support to our employees.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide Medical Care: Evaluate and treat ill and injured employees, administer and interpret Mantoux tuberculin skin tests, perform screening evaluations, ECGs, venipuncture, and vision exams.
  • Manage Clinical Duties: Manage and perform clinical, administrative, and program duties as assigned by the Physician, including triage, treatment, and referral of cases to off-site providers.
  • Health Promotion and Education: Counsel employees regarding health and wellness issues, test results, arranging physical exams and tests, and assisting in performance of exams.
  • Documentation and Record-Keeping: Maintain medical, Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), and other documentation in print and electronic format.
  • Emergency Response: May be required to drive specially equipped emergency vehicle or other government vehicle to respond to emergencies, perform Automated External Defibrillator (AED) checks, or perform other duties as assigned by the COR or Clinical Supervisor.
Requirements:
  • Education and Certification: Pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX), have and maintain an active, current, unrestricted License as a RN in the jurisdiction of delivery of care, and maintain certification in BLSHCP and ACLS provider.
  • Work Experience: Have at least two (2) years of previous clinical experience as an RN.
  • Skills and Abilities: Have completed Registered Nurse (RN) training from a university, college, school, or nursing program that is accredited by the Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), National Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or the National League for Nursing Accrediting Commission (NLNAC), and have and maintain a valid state driver's license.
Working Environment:

This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time.
