You will report to the Associate Director of Lifecycle Marketing. As an integral member of our Lifecycle Marketing Team, you will design, optimize, and elevate dynamic user journeys, mentor lifecycle marketing professionals, and establish a center of excellence.

From mobilizing millions to investigate environmental issues to advocating for social justice, numerous movements have originated on our platform. Daily, local, national, and international victories are achieved thanks to the dedication of our members who are transforming lives worldwide. Key Responsibilities:

  • Formulate and execute strategies to boost user engagement, retention, and lifetime value;
  • Enhance new user retention by creating and managing an experimental roadmap;
  • Design and optimize dynamic user journeys and campaigns that enhance performance;
  • Guide, mentor, and develop lifecycle marketing professionals, focusing on hypothesis-driven experimentation, storytelling, and user data analysis;
  • Streamline processes to improve experiment velocity and content production.

Essential Competencies:

  • Proficiency in lifecycle marketing strategic planning, project management, and data-driven customer segmentation, utilizing technical expertise in lifecycle marketing software to optimize campaigns and craft impactful messaging;
  • Experience in planning and executing experimentation strategies, leveraging insights to amplify the impact of lifecycle initiatives on user engagement and monetization;
  • Skilled in collaborating with Design, Product, and Brand teams to deliver exceptional campaigns that resonate with users and foster brand loyalty;
  • Extensive background in customer journey mapping to pinpoint key engagement opportunities;
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills along with excellent collaboration abilities;
  • Demonstrated leadership in developing and managing individual contributors.

Desired Experience:

  • At least 6 years of lifecycle marketing experience, preferably in a large-scale consumer marketplace, e-commerce, or direct-to-consumer technology company;
  • Minimum of 2 years in a managerial role;
  • Robust experience with cross-channel marketing platforms (e.g., Iterable or Braze);
  • Experience in expanding beyond email marketing to include web, SMS, push notifications, and other channels.

Additional Information:

This is a full-time position, and we welcome applicants from various regions. Our compensation structure is based on pay equity, with salaries determined prior to role announcements based on a set salary scale and local labor costs. The annual salary for a Senior Lifecycle Marketing Manager is $143,500 in major markets, with variations based on location.
