Geotechnical Project Engineer

Braun Intertec is seeking a highly skilled Geotechnical Project Engineer to join our team in Bloomington, Minnesota. This role involves managing complex geotechnical projects, providing technical expertise, and exceeding client expectations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain internal and external client relationships, including project and non-project related face-to-face meetings
  • Lead technical or project-related teams, ensuring successful project delivery
  • Prepare proposals for complex projects, showcasing technical expertise and client value
  • Develop and execute comprehensive project scopes, prepare engineering reports, and provide professional opinions and practical geotechnical solutions
  • Manage projects, including scope, schedule, and budget, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
  • Perform engineering analysis using company and industry methodologies and standards
  • Mentor junior-level engineering staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development
  • Ensure compliance with corporate health and safety policies, maintaining a safe working environment
Required Skills:
  • Strong leadership, analytical, and interpersonal skills, with a focus on driving success and exceeding client expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create and maintain project budgets
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member, with a strong focus on collaboration and problem-solving

  • Strong attention to detail, with a focus on delivering high-quality results
Required Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in geotechnical, civil, or related engineering, with a Master's degree preferred
  • At least six years of geotechnical engineering experience, with experience managing client relationships, vendor management, and leading teams
  • Professional Engineer registration/licensure in Minnesota, or ability to attain within six months
