Project Engineer 1

The Project Engineer 1 plays a crucial role in ensuring the successful execution of projects by providing technical and administrative support to the project team. This individual will work closely with the project team to troubleshoot engineering-related installation problems and ensure that all work complies with basic engineering standards, codes, specifications, and design instructions.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process submittals and RFI's in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Keep track of daily work tickets and maintain organized and detailed project records.
  • Document project issues and conditions, and submit hours and cost codes as required.
  • Obtain permits, badges, and access requests in advance to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Manage project library and participate in KPR (Key Project Review).
Requirements:
  • 0-2 years of experience with a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or Construction Management (preferably from an ABET accredited program).
  • Ability to obtain a TS/SCI w/ Polygraph if required for the project.
Working Conditions:
  • Exposure to computer screens for extended periods.
  • Sitting for extended periods.
  • Reach by extending hands or arms in any direction.
  • Finger dexterity to manipulate objects with fingers rather than whole hands or arms.
