Job Title: Affordable Housing Community Director

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Affordable Housing Community Director to join our team at FPI Management, Inc. As a key member of our property management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties, ensuring that our residents receive exceptional service and that our properties meet the highest standards of quality and safety.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and manage the day-to-day operations of our affordable housing properties, including leasing, resident services, and maintenance.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve resident satisfaction and retention, as well as to increase occupancy and revenue.
  • Manage and supervise a team of property management staff, including leasing agents, maintenance technicians, and administrative assistants.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies, including those related to fair housing, resident rights, and property maintenance.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including marketing, accounting, and maintenance, to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in affordable housing property management, including experience with LIHTC, HUD programs, and other affordable housing initiatives.
  • Proven track record of success in property management, including experience with leasing, resident services, and maintenance.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with experience supervising a team of property management staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Proficiency in property management software, including Yardi, Yieldstar, and other relevant systems.
