Revenue Cycle Operations Director

Job Summary
">The Revenue Cycle Manager at McDermott Center oversees all aspects of our insurance revenue cycle to ensure timely payment for services provided. This role involves supervising the billing team, identifying and resolving revenue cycle problems, communicating with payers, collecting receivables, analyzing performance and trends, and preparing regular reports.
Main Responsibilities

- Manage day-to-day revenue cycle operational processes to ensure timely and accurate submission of billing and collection of payments;">
- Supervise the contract billing and collections team, monitoring productivity and performance, assigning projects and deadlines, and providing daily guidance as needed;">
- E nsure that revenue cycle processes align with organizational policies and procedures, Federal, State, and payer regulations, guidelines, and requirements;">
- Proactively monitor billing and accounts receivable trends and take appropriate action to address problems as they occur;">
- Collaborate with other departments to improve revenue cycle metrics and ensure accurate and timely billing;">
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with Managed Care organizations (MCOs) and insurance payers, serving as a primary liaison for revenue cycle matters;">
- Recommend changes in billing and accounts receivable policies, procedures, methods, and guidelines as appropriate;">
- Determine and maintain staffing metrics and measurements based on business demands;">
- Prepare monthly reports detailing revenue cycle outcomes, initiatives, and action plans;">
- Review weekly billing reports for accuracy and completeness before submission;">
- Assist with audits and monitoring reviews as needed;">
- Contribute to short and long-term organizational planning and strategy;">
Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred;">
- At least 3 years of experience in healthcare revenue cycle functions;">
- At least 1 year of management experience;">
- Able to create department objectives and direct others in achieving those goals;">
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written;">
- Strong work ethic and high level of professionalism;">
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail;">
- Team player who can handle multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment;">
- Experience in using electronic health record and billing systems;">
- Intermediate experience in Microsoft Office products with a strong emphasis in Excel.">
Estimated Salary
">$85,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
