Georgetown University seeks a highly motivated and dedicated individual to serve as a Mentor in our academic support program.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for academic enrichment and a commitment to supporting the academic success of high school students.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and provide an enriching and educational experience for a cohort of up to 25 high school students.
  • Develop and implement academic programs that promote student growth and development.
  • Provide academic support and guidance to students, including tutoring and mentoring.
  • Collaborate with faculty and staff to ensure a seamless and supportive academic experience for students.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Current or graduating undergraduate or graduate student or recently graduated.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, Google Suite, and Zoom.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Current or graduating GU student.
  • Experience working in an educational setting.
  • Experience working with faculty.
  • Experience working with high school students.
  • Supervisory and/or leadership experience.
