Job Title: Mobile Diesel Mechanic

We are seeking a highly skilled Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team at Ryder System. As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work
  • Diagnose and repair complex issues with diesel engines and other vehicle systems
  • Conduct preventive maintenance checks to ensure vehicles are in good working condition
  • Work independently and as part of a team to complete repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Communicate effectively with customers and other team members to ensure seamless service delivery
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Vocational or technical certification in diesel mechanics or a related field preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in diesel mechanics or a related field
  • Valid CDL Class A license preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
