Job Title: Mobile Diesel Mechanic

At Ryder, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Diesel Mechanic to join our team. As a Mobile Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance and repairs on our fleet of heavy-duty trucks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, brake and tire work, and diagnostic repairs
  • Identify and repair complex mechanical issues with diesel engines and other vehicle systems
  • Work independently and as part of a team to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational or technical certification preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in heavy-duty diesel mechanics; experience with mobile maintenance a plus
  • Valid CDL Class A license required; non-commercial driver's license preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
