Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver exceptional technical expertise in bridge hydraulic design, sediment transport, and floodplain management.
  • Conduct hydrologic and hydraulic simulations.
  • Develop construction documentation for transportation-related projects.
  • Create detailed construction drawings, specifications, and cost assessments.
  • Compile design and permitting documentation.
  • Gather and interpret relevant data.
  • Draft comprehensive studies and master plans.
  • Formulate technical proposals, including scope, timelines, and budget estimates.
  • Guide team members in their responsibilities and schedules.
  • Provide mentorship and performance evaluations for team members.
  • Oversee construction engineering and site observations.

Qualifications:

  • A Master's degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering, focusing on Water Resources or Hydraulic Engineering, is preferred.
  • At least 8 years of experience in Project Engineering within hydraulic engineering or a related field.
  • A valid Professional Engineer (PE) license is mandatory.
  • Proficient in water resources modeling tools such as HEC-RAS and SRH2D.
  • Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite, ArcGIS, and AutoCAD or MicroStation.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with competing deadlines in a collaborative environment.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits:
