This role involves extensive travel and technical expertise in maintaining and servicing machinery within the manufacturing sector. We are seeking a dedicated individual to provide exceptional support and training to our clients in the Midwest region.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on injection molding machinery to ensure peak operational efficiency.
- Install machinery and associated equipment at various client locations.
- Provide comprehensive training to customers on machine usage and maintenance protocols.
- Manage service inquiries from a remote location, offering troubleshooting and technical support.
- Engage in significant travel (approximately 80% of the time) throughout the Midwest, with all travel expenses covered.
- Participate in specialized training programs led by seasoned service professionals.
- Utilize provided tools and equipment, including uniforms and laptops, to perform job duties effectively.
- Work with electronic circuits, including troubleshooting and replacing DC voltage components.
- Handle high voltage AC tasks, such as motor starter and heater circuits.
- Configure and upload software to PLCs and operation panels to ensure proper functionality.
- Assemble, repair, and maintain mechanical systems, including hydraulic and servo components.
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a technical field or equivalent experience in machinery maintenance.
- Proficient in using digital multimeters and various hand tools.
- Strong computer skills, particularly in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining injection molding equipment.
- Basic understanding of PLCs and light rigging skills.
- Ability to work with mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
- Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including some weekends.
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to work autonomously.
- Excellent communication abilities for effective client interaction and training.
