Job Title: Field Service Engineer

Leica Microsystems is seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support and maintenance services to our customers in the central part of the USA.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Visit customers for preventive maintenance actions, fault analysis, upgrades, installation, maintenance, and repair to achieve optimum customer care.
  • Support Sales Representatives in activities such as installations and demo/exhibitions.
  • Collaborate closely with the Service Team to ensure all customers in the region are provided professional after-sales service.
Requirements:
  • HS Diploma or equivalent with 4+ years' experience and/or vocational training in a technical, scientific, or engineering background or relevant military experience.
  • Electro-mechanical troubleshooting experience.
  • Ability to travel up to 80% including overnight travel up to 4 nights a week with international travel for training up to twice a year.

The hourly range for this role is $40.00. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future.

This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance and 401(k) to eligible employees.
