Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of our next-generation commercial machinery and improve the existing product line.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering, manufacturing, and sales teams to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality, reliability, and efficiency.
  • Develop and implement solutions for both new equipment and existing product improvements.
  • Ensure regulatory compliance with agencies like NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, and federal, state, and local authorities.
  • Provide technical support to our field sales team, contractors, consultants, engineers, and architects.
  • Develop and manage technical documentation for design control and field use.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • 5-10 years of experience in electrical and electronic design, preferably in the commercial appliance industry.
  • Strong knowledge of board level circuit design, relay logic circuit design, electrical circuit troubleshooting, IoT implementation, software coding, hardware design and selection, sensor selection, vendor selection, and project management.
  • Experience with CAD modeling (Autodesk Inventor preferred), stainless steel sheet metal fabrication and design, mechanical design, plastic component design, and electrical/electronic circuit design.
  • Knowledge of codes and standards for plumbing, sanitation, electrical, and building (NSF, CSA, UL, BOCA, ASSE, UPC, FDA).
