Client Service Manager for Asset Management – Remote

We are in search of a skilled and meticulous service Asset Manager to oversee a Distributed Energy Systems (DES) service portfolio, which includes solar photovoltaic farms, Battery Energy Storage Systems, internal combustion engines, and Microgrids, with a particular emphasis on solar PV farms and battery storage systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage operational resources and assess the performance of energy facilities.
  • Formulate and uphold maintenance strategies, ensuring effective execution.
  • Facilitate, inform, prioritize, and coordinate activities involving both internal and external resources.
  • Review time-and-material (T&M) service orders for completed costs and scope of work; process invoices in line with standard billing practices.
  • Supervise contractual commitments, deliverables, and customer satisfaction, ensuring service contract obligations are met and documenting events affecting operations, scope of work, and site performance.
  • Enhance customer satisfaction through exceptional communication and quality work.
  • Ensure clarity regarding service agreement budgets, activity plans, and invoicing.
  • Drive successful financial outcomes for assigned accounts, coordinating timely execution of service contract bookings, renewals, billing, and activity planning.
  • Achieve order intake, revenue, and margin objectives while pursuing project-specific change-order opportunities.
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders effectively.
  • Serve as the primary contact for service clients to ensure their expectations are fulfilled.
  • Address incoming service requests via phone or email, leading to service work and scheduling or dispatching personnel.
  • Maintain robust relationships with manufacturers, vendors, and service providers.

Qualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, or a related technical field is preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in the energy sector, particularly in solar generation.
  • Experience as a Distributed Energy Systems Asset Manager is essential.
  • Proven communication, sales, and customer service skills.
  • Proficient in computer usage and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrated creative thinking, problem-solving abilities, and adaptability to change.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer-sponsored work authorization.
  • A valid Driver's license in good standing is required.
