Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Production Supervisor to join our team at Elmira Stamping & Manufacturing. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the production process, ensuring quality and efficiency, and driving process improvements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Production Oversight: Manage production schedules, monitor production processes, and ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and coach production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their jobs effectively.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvements, implement changes, and measure the impact on productivity and quality.
  • Quality Assurance: Ensure that all products meet stringent quality standards, and implement corrective actions when necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Manage inventory levels, monitor stock levels, and ensure that materials are available when needed.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Ensure that all equipment is properly maintained, and perform routine maintenance tasks as needed.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred but not required).
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and problem-solving skills, ability to multitask, and basic math and computer skills.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and perform other physical tasks as needed.
