Performs all recordkeeping functions for a variety of retirement plans/participants in an accurate, timely and efficient manner, including balancing, posting transactions, etc.
- Performs a variety of duties to support the Retirement Services Group function; Ensures that all trust and related recordkeeping activities are efficiently and accurately performed; Performs operational tasks for supervisor and others, as assigned; Serves as back-up for various desks and/or responsibilities within the department, as assigned.
- Performs recordkeeping and balancing responsibilities on a scheduled basis to provide timely and accurate information for participant statements and applicable reports, including distributions, transfers, vesting, plan provision and testing compliance.
- Verifies allocations (contributions and earnings); Prepares checks for monthly payments and distributions and balances appropriate accounts.
- Prepares and/or assist in preparing required government reports for individual and plan documentation;
- Data entry of contributions and loans for various plans; Updates account investment information in the event of name changes, stock splits/mergers; Communicates with plan participants with regard to loans, benefit payouts, etc.
- Performs beginning and end of day balancing, as required; Assists in statement preparation as needed; Distributes reports to appropriate Division personnel.
- Assists the Plan Managers with the preparation of annual compliance tests, Form 5500-SF, and reconciliations for large plan form 5500 filers.
- Assists with the set-up in Relius for start-up and takeover Plans. Works with the Plan Manager to load and review data uploads during the conversion and new plan set-up.
- Conforms to General Performance Expectations as identified for all employees.
Qualifications/Requirements
- BA or BS degree in related field of study preferred; minimum of three years' experience in related position required.
- ASPPA QKA designation preferred.
- Proficient interpersonal skills in dealing with clients and all levels of management.
- Intermediate to Advanced level skill in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint; proficient spelling, grammar and composition skills.
- Experience with the FIS Relius Administration System preferred.
- Close attention to detail and good organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
Salary Range $18.19 to $31.03 hourly
