About the Role:

Hillel International seeks a highly skilled and dedicated professional to serve as the Director of Community Engagement and Inclusion. This key position will be responsible for fostering a positive and inclusive campus environment for Jewish students, promoting Jewish life and learning, and developing strategic partnerships with university staff and faculty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement programs to promote Jewish life and learning on campus, including community-building initiatives, educational events, and advocacy efforts.
  • Build and maintain relationships with university staff and faculty to promote Hillel's mission and goals.
  • Collaborate with student leaders and organizations to develop and implement inclusive and engaging programs and events.
  • Provide support and resources to Jewish students and faculty to address campus culture issues and promote a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Develop and manage budgets and programs to achieve strategic goals and objectives.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in college campus work, Jewish community, or community relations.
  • Strong knowledge of Jewish history and culture, antisemitism, and Zionism.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, faculty, and staff.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and partnership.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop and implement effective solutions to complex problems.
