Position Summary
Under the guidance of the Call Center Supervisor, the Crisis Call Center Clinician will manage incoming calls from youth and families experiencing psychological and emotional crises. This role involves ensuring safety, gathering essential triage information, and coordinating the dispatch of appropriate clinicians. The clinician will also assist with case management tasks across various counties.
Key Responsibilities:
Crisis Management
- Maintain professionalism during crisis interactions with all parties involved.
- Foster teamwork through effective communication.
- Engage callers with empathy and professionalism.
- Utilize critical thinking to assess calls and dispatch clinicians accordingly.
Case Management
- Support the MRSS team in managing cases that require assessments and follow-up.
- Communicate effectively with the behavioral health team and document appropriately.
- Conduct satisfaction surveys and quality assurance measures for the MRSS program.
- Ensure high-quality documentation practices.
Data Management
- Accurately enter documentation into the designated systems.
- Assist in developing programmatic needs and outcome evaluations.
General Expectations:
