About the Role

Affinity Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced K-12 Sales Specialist to join our team in Birmingham, AL. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for developing and executing sales strategies to drive growth and revenue in the K-12 food service market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute sales plans to achieve sales targets and grow revenue in the K-12 food service market
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with K-12 food service directors, school board members, and other key stakeholders
  • Present features and benefits of our product lines to K-12 food service professionals
  • Drive inquiry generation through strategic sales presentations and partnerships
  • Influence high-impact partnerships in the market while executing daily tasks to maximize value and increase cases shipped
Requirements
  • 3-5 years of experience in food sales/marketing or K-12 food service management
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities while traveling
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal, written, and listening)
  • Self-motivated and driven to take initiative and ownership in client relationships
  • Valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and flexible schedule for daily travel and occasional overnight events
