Position Summary:

As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Copa Health, you will oversee the complete recruitment process in a professional and effective manner to attract top-tier talent. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Executing daily recruitment tasks, such as sourcing, screening, scheduling, and assessing candidates.
  • Keeping real-time updates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), including notes, stages, and candidate communications.
  • Supporting hiring managers by organizing interviews and confirming details with candidates.
  • Facilitating requisition approvals and ensuring accuracy.
  • Reviewing resumes, conducting initial phone screenings, and presenting top candidates for interviews.
  • Influencing hiring decisions through behavioral-based interviews and extending job offers.
  • Updating job templates and marketing materials with best practices.
  • Managing candidates throughout the selection process, advocating for quality candidates.
  • Building a robust pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels, including social media and job boards.
  • Maintaining and updating the ATS to accurately reflect requisition and candidate activities.
  • Sourcing high-quality candidates using various methods, including internet resources and employee referrals.
  • Conducting regular follow-ups with candidates to gauge their ongoing interest.
  • Establishing rapport with internal and external stakeholders, projecting a positive image of the organization.
  • Developing employer branding initiatives to position the company as a preferred employer.
  • Coordinating and participating in recruitment events, including job fairs and community networking.
  • Visiting hiring departments to understand their culture and help candidates appreciate the opportunities.
  • Preparing reports to monitor recruitment activities, track open positions, and evaluate recruitment strategies.
  • Completing necessary pre-employment documentation and offers.
  • Conducting new hire engagement surveys to ensure a positive onboarding experience.
  • Staying updated on current trends and innovative recruitment techniques.
  • Responding to communications within 24 hours or the next business day.
  • Maintaining cooperative workplace relationships and adhering to the company's Code of Ethics and Conduct.
  • Ensuring confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in the health or behavioral health sector.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's driving requirements.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Thorough understanding of employment laws, recruiting strategies, and onboarding processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employment matters discreetly.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills to interact effectively with all levels of staff and external contacts.
  • Proactive and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
Working Conditions:
  • Primarily sedentary, with some standing and lifting (up to 15 lbs.).
  • Typing and keyboarding skills (minimum 45 wpm).
  • Driving may be required.
  • Alternative work hours may be necessary.
