Role Summary: As a Talent Acquisition Partner at Copa Health, you will oversee the complete recruitment cycle, ensuring our organization attracts top-tier talent. Your responsibilities will include creating proactive sourcing strategies, evaluating candidates, conducting interviews, and making job offers. Collaborate with business partners to clarify job requirements and devise effective recruitment tactics. Work closely with hiring managers and candidates to deliver a positive, People First hiring experience that embodies Copa's core values: Compassion, Integrity, Accountability, Innovation, and People First.

Compensation Range: $48,880 - $52,000

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily recruitment tasks, including sourcing, screening, scheduling, and assessing candidates.
  • Keep real-time updates in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), documenting notes, stages, and candidate communications.
  • Assist hiring managers in scheduling interviews and confirming details with candidates.
  • Facilitate requisition approvals while ensuring accuracy.
  • Review resumes, conduct initial phone screenings, and present top candidates for interviews.
  • Influence hiring decisions through behavioral-based interviews and assist in selection processes.
  • Update job templates and promotional materials with best marketing practices.
  • Guide candidates through the selection process, advocating for quality candidates.
  • Build a robust pipeline of qualified candidates through various channels, including social media and job boards.
  • Maintain and update the ATS to accurately reflect recruitment activities.
  • Source high-quality candidates using various methods, including online resources and referrals.
  • Conduct regular follow-ups with candidates to gauge their interest.
  • Establish rapport with internal and external stakeholders, promoting a positive company image.
  • Develop branding initiatives to position the organization as an employer of choice.
  • Coordinate and participate in recruitment events, such as job fairs and community networking.
  • Engage with hiring departments to understand their culture and assist candidates in understanding opportunities.
  • Prepare reports to track recruitment activities and evaluate strategies.
  • Complete necessary pre-employment documentation and announcements.
  • Conduct new hire engagement surveys to enhance onboarding experiences.
  • Stay updated on current trends and innovative recruitment techniques.
  • Respond to communications promptly, ensuring timely follow-up.
  • Maintain collaborative workplace relationships and adhere to the company's Code of Ethics.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with HIPAA regulations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Two to three years of progressive experience in Human Resources, preferably in the health or behavioral health sector.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to meet the company's driving requirements.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • In-depth knowledge of employment laws, recruiting strategies, and onboarding processes.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive employment matters discreetly.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills for effective interaction with staff and external contacts.
  • Strong initiative and urgency to drive the recruitment process and meet objectives.
  • Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
  • Ability to manage competing priorities and adapt to feedback.
  • Proficiency in HRIS systems and basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

Work Environment:

  • Primarily sedentary, with some standing and lifting (up to 15 lbs.).
  • Typing and keyboarding skills required (minimum 45 wpm).
  • Driving may be necessary.
  • Alternative work hours may be required.
