Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate and issue invoices for services rendered, donations, and other receivables.
  • Accurately record and process incoming payments, ensuring timely updates to accounts.
  • Communicate with donors regarding their contributions and resolve any inquiries or discrepancies.
  • Perform regular reconciliations of accounts receivable records and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Maintain accurate and organized accounts receivable records and documentation.
  • Generate and analyze aging reports to track outstanding receivables and follow up on overdue accounts.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant accounting standards and internal controls.
  • Assist with month-end closing processes and other finance-related tasks as needed.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Educational Background: Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounts receivable, preferably in a non-profit organization.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks) and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in processing financial data.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with team members and donors.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
