Job Summary

Bridge Property Management is seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for performing various maintenance functions to ensure the physical condition and enhance the value of our properties.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform Routine Maintenance Tasks: Conduct daily operations and tracking of all unit walks, perform tasks associated with electrical, plumbing, carpentry, masonry, and painting, and complete daily operations and tracking of all unit walks.
  • Inspect and Maintain Building Systems: Conduct apartment and property inspections, schedule and complete quarterly preventative maintenance and unit inspections, and monitor and maintain all building systems as assigned.
  • Ensure Safety and Compliance: Complete visual inspection of bridges fire safety protocol, promote fire safety with residents, report deficiencies or potential hazards to direct report, and assure safety practices are used when which comply with all company, local city, state, and federal guidelines.
  • Communicate Effectively: Foster positive, active, and collaborative relationships with residents, communities, and associated agencies, and follow bridge policies and procedures and comply with fair housing, state, and federal laws.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High School graduate or equivalent, and two years working experience in facility maintenance.
  • Skills and Abilities: Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, painting, masonry, and carpentry, working knowledge of HVAC systems, knowledge of heating, and furnace systems, ability to communicate with residents, coworkers, and management, and ability to climb up to 40 feet.
