Job Summary:

As a Commercial Sales Account Manager at Zuern Building Products and Design Center, you will play a crucial role in driving sales growth and building strong relationships with clients. This position requires a deep understanding of the building materials supply business and the ability to generate significant sales revenue.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Generate Sales Growth: Develop and execute strategies to increase sales from a portfolio of existing accounts.
  2. Identify New Opportunities: Aid in identifying new sales opportunities within existing accounts and develop plans to capitalize on these opportunities.
  3. Client and Builder Relationships: Attend client and builder meetings to build strong relationships and understand their needs.
  4. Product Selection and Specification: Conduct product selection meetings with clients and builders to ensure accurate specifications and measurements.
  5. Jobsite Verification: Travel to job sites to verify window and millwork specifications and measurements.
  6. Material Take-Offs: Perform material take-offs for smaller scale projects.
  7. Communication and Customer Service: Respond to builder communications, assemble job packs for installers, and provide excellent customer service.
  8. Order Process: Assist the sales team with the order process from estimating through ordering.
  9. Industry Trends: Stay up-to-date on industry trends to identify potential opportunities for company growth.
Requirements:
  1. Education and Experience: Requires a High School Diploma and 3-5 years of lumberyard experience or a 2-4 year degree related to business or construction.
  2. Mathematical Skills: Mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, and divide measurements of square foot and cubic foot.
  3. Computer Skills: Strong computer skills and understanding of Zuern Building Products software platform.
  4. Self-Motivation and Supervision: Self-motivated and comfortable working with little to no direction.
  5. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds, bend, stoop, kneel, climb, and reach.
  6. Communication Skills: Requires good oral and written communication skills to interact with employees and customers.
  7. Customer Service Skills: Excellent customer service skills.
Work Requirements:
  1. Driver's License: Valid Wisconsin driver's license and medically able to operate a Zuern company vehicle.
  2. Travel: Must be willing and able to travel with Zuern provided company vehicle up to 60 percent of the time.
