Responsibilities:
  • Develop and Manage the Construction Schedule
  • Prepare and Oversee the Construction Budget
  • Create and Distribute Bid Packages
  • Review + Approve Bidders, Ensuring Bid Compliance
  • Represent Client Interests During Contract Negotiations
  • Act as Client Representative on-Site During Construction, Including Safety and Project Delivery Oversight
  • Ensure Quality Control of All Construction Implementation, Serving as the Owner's Representative
  • Review and Approve Construction Submittals
  • Conduct Quality Control of Subcontractor Work + Issue Punch Lists
Qualifications:
  • Possess technical and trade knowledge required to be a Project Lead, with extensive expertise in all areas of construction.
  • Understand the broader context behind schedules and interrelationships of specific scheduled activities.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to best practices in construction, fostering close collaboration and communication among all team members.
  • Identify necessary roles and responsibilities for successful project execution, assess team member strengths, assign clear responsibilities, and consistently follow up with the client.
  • Manage the schedule update process effectively, ensuring all required documentation is completed and the schedule serves as a valuable management tool.
  • Oversee timely and fair completion of punch lists, resolve routine change orders, and ensure timely delivery through closeout submittals, leaving the customer with a positive impression of Haven.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent time management abilities.
  • Maintain positive relationships through courteous and respectful actions.
  • Possess all necessary equipment and transportation to fulfill the responsibilities of this role.
  • The ability to speak Spanish is a plus.
Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree Preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in construction management.
