Business Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated Regional Insurance Sales Agent to join our team at Harrison Gray Search and Consulting LLC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving new business sales in property & casualty and health insurance lines, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
Your primary focus will be on building relationships with business owners, cooperative members, and prospects through on-site visits and strategic partnerships with internal Account Executives and Account Managers. You will also develop and implement innovative strategies for client acquisition and retention, staying informed of market trends to remain competitive.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business sales in property & casualty and health insurance lines, achieving or exceeding sales targets.
- Meet with business owners, cooperative members, and prospects to assess their needs and present tailored insurance solutions.
- Partner with internal teams to ensure seamless sales processes and exceptional client service.
- Develop and implement strategies for client acquisition and retention, staying informed of market trends.
- Actively participate in local events and engage in community leadership to build brand awareness and foster relationships.
What We're Looking For
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 2 years of sales experience, with a focus on insurance or business development.
- Agricultural background or familiarity with rural communities is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences effectively.
- Must have or be willing to obtain a property & casualty insurance license within 90 days of hire and a life/health insurance license within 30 days.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel extensively (75-100%).
