Job Title: Classified Mailing Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Classified Mailing Specialist to join our team at Tad PGS. As a Classified Mailing Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our Classified Mail Center.

Responsibilities:
  • Operate the National Mailing System - Mail Center Management (MCM) system and associated peripherals to prepare and process classified mail for delivery to the United States Postal Service (USPS) and FedEX.
  • Maintain and reconcile Telemeter Service (TMS) and Express Mail accounts for USPS.
  • Perform data entry using Security Integrated Management Systems (SIMS), ServiceNow, MDRS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Problem-solving discrepancies and writing discrepancies reports, maintaining and reconciling CMC transmittal receipts, issuing document control numbers, and responding to inquiries.
  • Provide backup to CMC personnel at Main Campus and MP6, perform courier functions, record keeping, and creating files.
  • Assist the Top Secret Control Office in all phases of Top Secret material handling (i.e., receipt, transfer, accountability, destruction, inventory, etc).
  • Utilize company vehicles to transport classified documents for destruction, as well as perform courier services for classified documents.
  • Serve as an alternate with collecting/destroying classified and administrative restricted documents and media (i.e., hard drives, CDs, DVDs, thumb drives, etc) for the Laboratory in accordance with NISPOM 32 CFR Part 117 security requirements.
  • Maintain destruction records and provide receipts to staff for media received/destroyed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Possess a valid state of residence driver's license (MVR check required).
  • Hold an active Secret security clearance.
  • Eligibility requirements include U.S. citizenship.
  • Exhibit strong organizational skills, with a demonstrable ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and maintain a high level of attention to detail.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office applications, creating and managing reports, mail services, ticketing systems, and managing mail services accounts.
  • Possess outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written, along with strong problem-solving abilities.
  • Demonstrate an independent work ethic, initiative, and ability to work autonomously while aligning with the group's vision and leadership strategy.
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs unassisted.
Desired Qualifications:
  • Experience in a document transfer and destruction environment.
  • Hold a higher level of security clearance.
