As a Cloud Operations Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in guiding organizations through the complexities of cloud technology. Your expertise will be essential in developing, managing, and securing a robust container platform tailored to meet client requirements while leveraging the full potential of cloud capabilities.
Your Responsibilities:
- Design and implement tools and processes that enhance DevOps or DevSecOps maturity through automation of builds, testing, monitoring, and deployment across various environments.
- Manage and maintain AWS services using infrastructure as code (IaC) methodologies and configuration management tools.
- Utilize containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes, to streamline operations.
- Employ DevOps and CI/CD tools, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions, to automate workflows effectively.
- Oversee network and server infrastructure monitoring and management to ensure optimal performance.
- Administer Linux systems, focusing on patching, optimization, scripting, and automation tasks.
- Collaborate with application development teams throughout the software development lifecycle to create innovative solutions.
- Address complex challenges within a collaborative team setting, contributing to the overall success of projects.
- Possess a Top Secret clearance and hold a high school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in developing enterprise cloud-native solutions, including Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
- Proficiency in enhancing continuous automation across diverse technical stacks.
- Ability to create and refine continuous deployment tools built on Kubernetes.
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in cloud environments.
- Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Linux, or Shell Script.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
Security Clearance:
Applicants will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; a Top Secret clearance is mandatory.
