In the evolving landscape of cloud technology, the role of a DevOps Engineer is crucial. As a Mid-Level DevOps Specialist, you will be at the forefront of developing, managing, and securing a containerized platform tailored to meet the diverse needs of our clients. Your expertise will be instrumental in crafting container management solutions that address complex challenges.
Your Responsibilities:
- Utilize your technical acumen to drive mission-critical changes within our organization.
- Enhance your skills by engaging with cutting-edge cloud technologies, focusing on improving client environments through effective container software solutions.
- Support your team in strategizing and designing robust systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards throughout the containerization journey.
Key Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in developing tools and processes that advance DevOps or DevSecOps capabilities through automation.
- Proficiency in building and maintaining AWS services using infrastructure as code (IaC) and configuration management tools.
- Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools and automation processes, including Jenkins and GitHub Actions.
- Solid understanding of network and server infrastructure management.
- Experience in Linux systems administration, encompassing patching, optimization, scripting, and automation.
- Collaborative experience with application development teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Possession of TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph.
- A Bachelor's degree with at least 1 year of relevant experience, or 8+ years of experience in lieu of a degree.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in developing enterprise-level cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Docker, AWS, Jenkins, or Azure.
- Expertise in enhancing continuous automation across various technical environments.
- Experience in creating and refining continuous deployment tools based on Kubernetes.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to both open-source and commercial tools in cloud settings.
- Knowledge of scripting languages, including Python or Linux Shell Script.
- A Master's degree is a plus.
Security Clearance:
Applicants selected for this position will undergo a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information; TS/SCI clearance with polygraph is mandatory.
