Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Learning and Development Manager to join our team at Mastercard. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing learning and development programs that support our strategic objectives. This role requires a dynamic individual with expertise in program management, stakeholder engagement, curriculum design, and process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

•Curriculum Design
oCollaborate with stakeholders to identify learning needs and program requirements.
oDevelop engaging and effective learning programs that address those needs.
oWork with learning designers to create programs that align with strategic objectives and showcase best practices.
oEnsure learning programs incorporate feedback and adapt to changing organizational needs.

•Program Planning and Execution
oDevelop comprehensive project plans for learning and development programs/initiatives.
oCoordinate cross-functional teams to ensure effective and efficient program execution.
oMonitor and track program progress, adjusting plans as necessary to meet targets.

•Stakeholder Management
oProvide updates and ensure alignment with program objectives.
oServe as the primary point of contact for all program-related inquiries and communications.

•Resource Management
oIdentify and allocate resources necessary for program execution.
oManage program budgets, ensuring financial objectives are met and resources are utilized efficiently.

•Risk Management
oIdentify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies.
oMonitor and report on program risks, implementing corrective actions as needed.

•Quality Assurance
oEnsure all learning and development program deliverables meet required quality standards.
oImplement continuous improvement processes to enhance program performance and outcomes.

•Data Analysis and Reporting
oCollect and analyze program data to evaluate performance and inform decision-making.
oPrepare and present detailed reports on program status, outcomes, and areas for improvement.

•Benchmarking and External Insights
oBenchmark learning and development programs against industry best practices and emerging trends.
oBring external insights and suggestions to enhance the effectiveness and innovation of learning initiatives.

•Process Improvement
oEvaluate existing learning and development processes and workflows.
oImplement best practices and innovative solutions to enhance program efficiency and effectiveness.

•Team Leadership
oProvide guidance, support, and leadership to program teams.
oFoster a collaborative and high-performance team environment.

Requirements

•Education
oAdvanced degrees or certifications in project management or learning and development are preferred.

•Experience
oProven experience in program or project management, with a track record of successfully delivering complex learning and development projects.
oExperience in curriculum design and instructional design, creating engaging and effective learning experiences.
oExperience managing cross-functional teams and working in a matrix organization.

•Technical Skills
oProficiency in project management software and learning and development tools.
oStrong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.

•Soft Skills
oExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
oStrong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
oProblem-solving mindset with the ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
