Position Overview: Penn Medicine Pennsylvania Hospital is in search of a per diem Hospitalist to enhance their medical team. This facility, recognized as the first hospital in the nation, is a 515-bed acute care institution that offers a comprehensive array of diagnostic and therapeutic services while serving as a prominent teaching and clinical research center.

The primary duties encompass direct patient management within various services, including teaching, non-teaching, observation medicine, and consultative/co-management services. The hospital features a closed Intensive Care Unit, complemented by an open Intermediate Critical Care Unit. Some procedural tasks may be required.

Essential Qualifications: Candidates must possess a Medical degree or its international equivalent. Board certification or eligibility in Internal or Family Medicine is required. Board certification is mandatory for those who completed their residency three or more years prior to application. Candidates must hold or be eligible for a Pennsylvania medical license and have successfully passed USMLE Steps 1, 2, and 3. A DEA license/registration is also necessary.
