Distribution Sales Manager

SolarEdge is a global leader in high-performance smart energy technology, and we're seeking a talented Distribution Sales Manager to join our North America Sales Team. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in driving our sales efforts in the solar industry, leveraging your expertise to build strong relationships with distributors and drive growth in the residential, commercial, and utility markets.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute strategic plans to grow SolarEdge's market share in the South West Region (California, AZ, NM, NV)
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior management at our distributors, driving adoption of our portfolio of solutions
- Collaborate with key distribution sales representatives to drive joint sales initiatives with SolarEdge Sales Directors and Regional Sales Managers
- Develop and manage coverage plans, pricing programs, and incentives for National Accounts
- Identify, assess, and qualify new or alternative distributors for SolarEdge, utilizing our distribution management process
- Provide product and solutions training to distributor sales teams, ensuring mind share and product application alignment
- Lead the forecasting process to align with regional sales opportunities, local market trends, and existing inventory levels
- Act as the point of contact for fulfillment and order management issues between distributors and SolarEdge
- Bachelor's degree in business or a related field
- 7 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of creating successful long-term strategic distribution partnerships
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and work as a team with various stakeholders
- Strong presentation skills, with the ability to build consensus among diverse stakeholders
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong computer and analytical skills, with mid-level Excel skills and CRM experience required
- Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with various personality types
- Self-motivated, team-oriented, innovative, strategic thinker with a passion for driving results and a strong sense of personal accountability
- Must have a valid driver's license, with the ability to travel up to 60%
- Experience working for an international organization is preferred
SolarEdge is committed to fair, transparent pay and strives to provide competitive market-informed compensation. The pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $100,000 and $120,000. Total compensation includes base, commission, and equity. Target commission is 50% of the base salary. It is anticipated that most qualified candidates will fall near the middle of this range. However, base pay offered is based on market location and may vary further depending on individualized factors for job candidates such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations.
Even more importantly, please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at SolarEdge. Subject to those same considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a bonus and/or equity awards, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
