Job Overview

At Davidson Transit Organization, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Human Resources Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree and three to five years of comparable HR or supervisory experience.

Key Responsibilities
  • Sick Leave Administration: Process sick pay and disability claims for unionized employees, receiving all necessary documentation and entering information into the personnel database.
  • Employee Recognition Program: Develop wellness incentives for the company and administer the Employee Recognition Program.
  • Attendance Tracking: Track and manage programs related to employee attendance, including Sick Leave, Short-Term Disability, Family and Medical Leave, Worker's Compensation, and Bereavement Leave.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field.
  • Three to five years of comparable HR or supervisory experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment laws, particularly Workers' Compensation, Family and Medical Leave Act, and Americans with Disabilities Act.
  • Familiarity with human resource functions and computer applications.
