Job Title: Hydrology & Hydraulics Engineer

Mead & Hunt, a leading professional services consulting firm, is seeking a skilled problem-solver to join our innovative water resources team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze hydropower facilities, water conveyance systems, watersheds, and floodplains
  • Develop construction documents and costs
  • Write reports and direct project staff activities
  • Conduct quality control reviews and project management
  • Communicate with clients and design water resources and civil engineering projects

Some travel is required for this role.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
  • At least two years of relevant hydrology and hydraulics experience
  • Proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD, or similar software
  • Experience with CFD modeling, spreadsheet solutions, and GIS applications
  • AutoCAD Civil 3D and ESRI GIS skills

The ideal candidate will have experience with floodplain modeling, dam failure analysis, and watershed hydrology.
