About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Water Resources Engineer to join our team at Resource Environmental Solutions. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing sustainable stormwater management systems, erosion and sediment control plans, and restoration projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and develop natural resource plans, stream and/or wetland restoration plans, and sustainable stormwater design plans.
  • Participate in fieldwork, including geomorphic and ecological site assessments, field data collection, and restoration success monitoring.
  • Develop technical documentation, including proposals, design summaries, mitigation plans, and regulatory permit applications.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering with a water resources / environmental / ecological focus.
  • 2+ years' experience in a natural resources design field.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D, GIS, HEC-RAS, HEC-HMS, or other hydrologic and hydraulic software.
  • Knowledge of field survey and data collection techniques, fluvial geomorphology, and environmental regulations.
