Hydrology and Hydraulics Specialist

Mead & Hunt, a leading professional services consulting firm, is seeking a skilled problem-solver to join our innovative water resources team.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze hydropower facilities, water conveyance systems, watersheds, and floodplains
- Develop construction documents and costs
- Write reports and direct project staff activities
- Conduct quality control reviews and project management
- Communicate with clients and design water resources and civil engineering projects
Some travel is required for this role.
Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field
- At least two years of relevant hydrology and hydraulics experience
- Proficiency in HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, SWMM, HydroCAD, or similar software
- Experience with CFD modeling, spreadsheet solutions, and GIS applications
- AutoCAD Civil 3D and ESRI GIS skills
The ideal candidate will have experience with floodplain modeling, dam failure analysis, and watershed hydrology.
