Burn Care Specialist Opportunity

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Burn Care Specialist to join our Magnet-designated nursing team in our state-of-the-art burns/plastics unit. The Ellison 14 Burns/Plastics Unit is a 21-bed adult patient care unit, 7-bed intensive care unit with planned expansion to 10 beds within the year, dedicated to the care of the critically burn injured adult, four of which are Bacteria Controlled Nursing Units (BCNU's). As a Burn Care Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work with a highly skilled and compassionate team to provide excellent, quality care to patients and families in a safe and supportive environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care to critically burn injured adults in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices in burn care
  • Contribute to a culture of safety and quality improvement within the unit
Requirements:
  • Current Massachusetts Registered Nurse license
  • Minimum 1 year of RN experience on general med, med/surg/tele, or stepdown unit
  • BSN preferred
