Burn Trauma Surgical Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Burn Trauma Surgical Nurse to join our team in Malden, Massachusetts.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to provide exceptional care to patients with burn trauma injuries. As a Burn Trauma Surgical Nurse, you will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality patient care and promote a safe and supportive environment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to patients with burn trauma injuries, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans that meet the unique needs of each patient.
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' physical and emotional needs, and develop plans to address these needs.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians, and monitor patients' responses to these interventions.
- Participate in educational programs and training sessions to stay current on best practices in burn trauma care.
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
- Current surgical trauma experience preferred.
- Ability to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
