Burn Management Specialist

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Nurse to join our team as a Quality Program Manager for the Trauma and Burn Program. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, where you will have the chance to make a meaningful impact on patient care and outcomes.
About the Role:The Quality Program Manager will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of quality improvement initiatives, clinical research projects, and education programs for the Trauma and Burn Program. This role will require strong leadership and collaboration skills, as well as the ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce errors.
- Lead clinical research projects to advance the care of trauma and burn patients.
- Design and implement education programs for nurses, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve patient care and outcomes.
- Develop and maintain quality metrics and benchmarks to measure program performance.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) and current Massachusetts RN licensure.
- At least 5 years of experience in emergency room and ICU nursing.
- Database management and analysis experience.
- TNCC certification within 6 months of hire and TNCC instructor certification within 12 months of hire.
- ATLS coordinator certification preferred.
- Experience in healthcare and patient safety quality measurement, reporting, and improvement.
- Previous leadership or project management experience, including statistical concepts and applications.
