Job Title: Burn Trauma Surgical Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled Burn Trauma Surgical Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will provide exceptional care to patients with burn and trauma injuries.

Job Summary:

The Burn Trauma Surgical Nurse will be responsible for providing comprehensive nursing care to patients with burn and trauma injuries. This includes assessing patients' conditions, developing and implementing individualized care plans, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care, including wound care, dressing changes, and medication administration.
  • Assess patients' conditions and develop individualized care plans to meet their unique needs.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including physicians, therapists, and social workers, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary rounds to discuss patient progress and develop care plans.
  • Document patient information accurately and thoroughly in the electronic medical record.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • Current surgical trauma experience preferred.
  • Ability to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
